Canadian Open Poker Championship Satellites

In May of this year, Calgary will host the Canadian Open Poker Championship (COPC) Heads Up Main Event with a buyin of $5,000. To win entry into this tournament as well as $1,400 free cash you need to be playing the satellites currently running over at Cake Poker

The event will last from May 14th - 17th, 2009.  The Cake Poker prize package includes your seat in the tournament, $1,400 spending money, VIP access to the Canadian Poker Tour’s Ultimate Players Party and complete access to the VIP Lounge that is exclusive for high rollers.

There are various satellites for the Canadian Open Poker Championship you can enter.

There’s the daily $8 R&A with entries to the Canadian Open Final on offer, or you can go straight to the $40 Heads Up Shootout semi-final where approximately 1 in 5 players will win a ticket to the final.

For a total of $215 you can sit directly in the Final event where there will be 1 prize package for every $5,500 in the prize pool. The final is also a headsup shootout tournament.
